Party Birds
This Party Birds Digital Illustration project was created after a friend mentioned seeing a nuthatch that looked like it was ‘late for a party’. From then on, a series of birds ready for parties were created. I took requests from family and friends for what birds they would like to see – most were inspired by local birds I saw flitting around my backyard (notably a pair of cardinals and a plethora of fat robins).
All of the artwork was done by me, mainly in Procreate, with finishing touches added on in Photoshop. They are all true to their species and have been a hit with bird lovers.
